AltumVigil Org Monitoring processes and stores all data exclusively within your Salesforce org. No data is ever sent to external servers, ensuring full control over your information.
Access to the application’s features is controlled through a pre-configured Permission Set. This permission set ensures that only authorized users can schedule processes, view event data, or modify retention settings.
Automated processes such as archiving and cleaning operate within the boundaries of Salesforce's secure platform. Event log files are managed in a manner compliant with your retention policies, reducing the risk of unauthorized access or data overexposure.
By providing secure, in-org storage and customizable retention policies, AltumVigil helps organizations adhere to data governance and regulatory compliance standards.
Assign the provided AltumVigil Permission Set only to trusted administrators or users who require access to the application. Regularly review assigned permissions to ensure appropriate access.
Set appropriate retention periods for CSV and JSON files based on your organization's compliance and operational requirements.
Ensure that Salesforce's Event Monitoring feature is correctly enabled to allow the application to capture and process event logs.
Train authorized users to use the application securely, including understanding data filtering and ensuring sensitive data is handled appropriately.
Periodically check the status of scheduled archiving and cleaning processes to ensure they are functioning as intended.
